Mets fans got an early Christmas present in the elimination of both the Yankees and the Phillies from the post-season last week. Sometimes that happens, things go your way. And speaking of things going your way, there is one man playing in the World Series (between two teams no one could have foreseen meeting up in the Fall Classic) who will walk away with a Championship ring no matter which team wins!

He played 61 games for San Francisco and 57 games for Texas during the regular season. Molina has sparkled during the postseason, batting .333 with two homers and seven RBIs in nine games.

Coming from a family of catchers who have all played on winners this should really come as no surprise but it does make for some interesting trivia.
